Maggie

 

 This is Maggie, our yellow lab. We adopted her in April of 2006. She was around seven months old when we got her. She is a very high energy dog. We love her so much; she is really a lot of fun. She loves to swim, go to the bark park and fetch tennis balls. In October of 2006 she got a brother, Riley. He is a cocker spaniel. We really didn't think we would get another dog so soon. I volunteer at the shelter and in the summer these puppies came in that were scared to death of everything. The staff and volunteers worked with these cocker pups and they started coming around. All of them got adopted but one and I had him in a room one day and Lori (who works there) talked me into getting him. It was easy though. He is so sweet and loves everyone. He enjoys the bark park and going swimming too. He loves his big sister; they play together all the time. I always tell people about all the awesome dogs at the shelter. Plus the staff is the greatest. They work so hard and are so dedicated to the animals!!!
