Sadie

We adopted Sadie from Helping Hands Humane Society in April 1996. She was one of a litter of five or six terrier mix puppies and was so small you could hold her in the palm of your hand! Our neighbors’ son who was about seven or eight years old immediately fell in love with her and enjoyed coming over to play with her as often as his parents would let him. One afternoon after a rousing game of “tug the sock” with him she fell asleep on the living room floor. After sitting beside her for a few minutes watching her nap, he looked up and said “Doesn’t she just warm your heart?” After being a part of our family for more than nine years, that still holds true. Sadie truly “Warms our Hearts!”
