Sassy

Sassy was adopted from the shelter in 2004. Stacy, the Director of Operations, called me at home and said “you’ve got to see this – come down to the shelter!” I knew I was in trouble when I got there because they were holding the cutest little dog I’d ever seen. We brought her home that day. She is the smallest in our house but she definitely thinks she’s the biggest. She continually tries to egg the other ones into playing with her, but Annie (another black Pom), Jitters (calico cat) and Spooky (black cat) are all seniors and they don’t have the same enthusiasm that she does. Sassy is great with our kids and loves it when they run through the house – it gives her an excuse to bark and chase. We all love Sassy and HHHS!
