Scarlet

Scarlet is a wonderful addition to my life. Every night around 9 pm she starts to get tired but doesn’t want to leave all the action in the living room so I set up a special little spot with blankets and toys. She naps in the living room until it’s time for bed then follows me to the bathroom. She watches me brush my teeth and then lets me brush her teeth with her very own little doggy toothbrush! It’s the cutest thing to watch. She sleeps in her little doggy bed right next to mine. She lays there and stares at me in the morning until I wake up or she yawns in my face as a sweet get up gesture.

She has been a pleasure in every way. My entire family has fallen in love with her. My sisters come to visit more often than I can remember. My parents have no grandchildren so Scarlet has taken that place.

She is wonderful around children and friendly around other animals. I had no trouble at all with potty training! She didn’t need any! She goes straight to the door when it’s time. And as soon as she sees her leash, she sits right down and waits for me to connect it. She loves to play outside! She’s smart, observant, tremendously loving and wonderful to be around.

Due to the knowledgeable HHHS staff, I was lucky enough to find a wonderful friend. Scarlet is truly a treasure! Thanks so much for all of your help!
