Community Solutions
2003 Group Volunteers of the Year

The employees of Community Solutions were named the 2003 Group Volunteers of the Year at the HHHS annual meeting on May 15. This is a new award category awarded for the first time this year.

Under the supervision of Ralph Lilley, this group has gone above and beyond all expectations, logging more than 470 total hours in just three months. The group reported for duty every Saturday, rain or shine. They arrive early in the morning to bathe animals that have been selected for events and spend time walking them beforehand to burn off some energy. They assist at mobile adoption events at Petco and PetsMart. If no event is scheduled for a particular Saturday, they just come in to walk dogs and spend time socializing with the animals.

This group is more than willing to do anything asked of them. We are honored to have them as part of our volunteer family.
