Did you know that Tails on the Trail was an idea started with two Topeka women who wanted to combine their love of running and dogs to help raise money for Helping Hands Humane Society? It all started in 2010 when HHHS was trying to move into their new building on 21st and Belle. Lena and Linda wanted to help raise money so the animals could move into the new building with more exposure to the Topeka residents. Tails on the Trail has been a huge success and continues to grow. Best of all, many dogs have been adopted on the day of the event and we hope to continue to raise awareness for these animals.
Do you have a fundraising idea you would like to help develop, like Tails on the Trail, which was the brainchild of a supporter? Please let us know; we would love to work with you. We are a community, and together we make a big difference. Submit your ideas to email@example.com
Thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers for making Tails on the Trail a success!
