Shawn & Marti Leisinger
2006 Adult Volunteers of the Year

We could not do just one adult volunteer of the year award this year. This couple is one of our wonderful foster families. In the past year, they have fostered more than 79 cats and kittens. Shawn and Marti are dedicated to our feline residents who need some extra TLC before going into a permanent home. Both Shawn and Marti are Shawnee County employees. Shawn is the Assistant County Counselor and Marti is the Financial Administrator for the County.
