HHHS is dedicated to serving the community through education and does this through:

  • Tours of our facility to demonstrate how a shelter works and how we interact and serve our community
  • Presentations about animal welfare and our mission

All tours are on a first-come-first-served basis when it comes to scheduling and we welcome you to submit more than one date possibility when filling out the form linked below:

Common Tours and Presentations
General Educational Tour

Time Frame: 45 minutes

Age Range: All Ages

Location: 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604

Overview: This tour’s purpose is to explain and examine Helping Hands’ purpose and mission while giving a tour of our building and showing how each area is used in animal care.
