City of Topeka Licensing Information

All dogs, cats, and miniature pot-bellied pigs 6 months and older residing in the City of Topeka (within city limits) must be licensed. The annual license fee for an unsterilized (meaning not spayed or neutered) dog or cat is $20.00. A sterilized dog, cat, or pig license fee is $8.00. The Animal Control Office is located at the Law Enforcement Center, 320 S Kansas Ave, Suite 100. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Their telephone number is 785.368.9484.
