Warm Paws Warm Hearts Art Auction Artist Submission Form Register to Bid01. The Inauguration of this event
In 2021, the Midwest was plunged into extreme colds. We were in the negative degrees for weeks. HHHS maintained a safe and warm location for homeless animals in our community. Following the polar vortex, we received a gas bill for $19,000 that included penalties for not reducing our heat because we were committed to caring for the animals. Local artists in Topeka banded together to help us pay our bill by contributing art, of all types, to use in an art auction and gallery display. We were able to pay the bill! The “Warm Paws Warm Hearts” Art Auction has since become a spring event to look forward to – where all funds raised go towards the facility upkeep to keep the building warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

02. Contribute your creations
One of the pivotal aspects of this event is that we want and need ALL creative inspiration and all skill levels. Whether you just paint for fun or you are an award winning sculptor, we welcome your support. This mission takes all of us. Don’t be shy about your work, it’s vulnerable to share, but the animals are your biggest fan. Artist submission form is below. Please submit a completed form with each art piece that you bring so that we can provide proper artist credit and match the art pieces to the gallery tags accordingly.
If there are space limitations, original works will be prioritized in the gallery above prints so that local artists can ensure their work is seen.
Art can be delivered to HHHS in advance of the event as early as MARCH 1ST if you like, but please no later than Saturday May 24, 2025. The gallery and online auction will open Friday at noon on May 30th, 2025 in the HHHS Hill’s Room and will close Friday June 6th, 2025 at 8pm.
