Providing compassionate care
we need you.
on average, HHHS admits around 6,000 lost, abandoned, surrendered, dumped, abused, and stray animals each year. These animals include dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and hamsters. HHHS has an open admission policy – no animal is turned away. Funds are needed for daily animal care, veterinary intervention, adoption and education programs, lost and found services, and facility maintenance and improvements.
HHHS has an annual operating budget of around 1.8 million dollars, primarily based on donations from our community. Our staff cares for the animals seven days a week and 365 days of the year.
