Beginning at 10:00am ● Topeka West High School
Paws in the Park is the most attended annual fundraiser for Helping Hands Humane Society. This is northeast Kansas’ must attend event for pet owners and supporters of animal welfare. Last year, support at this event helped us care for the 6,000+ animals that entered our shelter. The cost to compassionately care for and provide world-class medical care for this number of animals can be staggering but is unavoidable. Paws in the Park helps to raise money to support the animals that enter our doors. HHHS is proud to provide sanctuary for the lost, abandoned and unwanted animals.
NEW FEES! Registration to participate in Paws in the Park is $25 which includes an event t-shirt, goodie bag, and one souvenir dog bandana (while supplies last). A general admission is also available for $15 per person. This includes 1 admission and 1 bandanna for your best friend. Children 16 years old and younger are free.
Following a 1 mile fun walk, vendors are open for shopping and browsing along with other activities. Throughout the morning, pet contests will be conducted and, for a minimal donation, pancakes and sausage will be served by Perkin’s Family Restaurant and Bakery.
