Why donate?

Helping Hands Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible. (Please consult your tax advisor.) Other than monies received through contractual agreements for animal services provided to the city and county, we are funded entirely by private donations. Your dollars do make a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

Caring for ever increasing numbers of animals puts a tremendous burden on our staff, facility and limited resources. Every donation is critical for us to carry out our mission to advocate for animal welfare and to provide compassionate care and protection for all animals that find their way to our shelter. We need the support of everyone in the community who is concerned about the well being of animals.

How to donate?

There are many ways to donate to HHHS!

Online: You can donate online using the button below, this links to a safe and secure link called Authorize.net

Mail Donation: You can mail in your donation to HHHS today by sending a check to: 5720 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS 66604

Call-In Donation: You can give us a call during normal business hours and one of our staff would be happy to assist you with a donation. They can mail you a donation envelope or take your credit card information over the phone. Calling is also the best way to set up a recurring monthly donation. Our number is 785-233-7325.

Sponsoring a Pet: You can sponsor part of an animal’s adoption fee, sponsor the microchipping of a cat, or sponsor a training scholarship for an animal! All these options help pets find homes. For more information, please read this page: Sponsor a Pet

Corporate Sponsorships: If you own a business or work for a business you think might want to donate, you can donate to our shelter and be listed as a sponsor for various events and programs. Matching gifts: Some of our corporate friends will match any gift that you make to a non-profit organization. Please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program. We will be happy to provide any information that they require to match your gift! Usually it’s a simple form!
